SUMMARY:Tired\, triggered\, and still trying
DESCRIPTION:Are you feeling tired\, triggered\, and still trying? No matter your role in the perinatal-to-five (PN5) world\, you entered this work to make a positive impact. However\, systemic barriers often create a gap between your daily work and your values of equity and justice. This gap doesn’t just cause burnout—it can inflict a moral injury.\nWe invite you to a special 90-minute workshop: “Tired\, Triggered\, and Still Trying? Addressing Moral Injury in Perinatal-to-Five Care and Education to be the Change Agent You Know You Can Be\,” featuring Nat Nadha Vikitsreth\, LCSW. \nIn this session\, you will practice: \nUsing political analysis as a lens in clinical observation to co-create belonging across races\, classes\, and genders. \nHelping caregivers reflect on how systemic oppression interferes with attunement. \nA three-part communication strategy to have these vital talks without the “sweat.”

SUMMARY:Re-imagining Resistance: A Monthly Reflective Space for Professionals
DESCRIPTION:The California Association for Infant Mental Health (CalAIMH) is proud to continue our thought-provoking series: “What is Resistance”. \nThis is not a traditional webinar; it is a virtual conversation designed for reflection. On the fourth Thursday of every month\, we gather to consider how resistance manifests in the field of infant mental health and the broader systems we navigate. \nWho leads this space?\nYou will hear from the diverse voices of our Communities of Practice Committee\, including Dr. Lynette Lively Cookson\, Dr. Richard Cohen\, Gaby Espinoza\, Maria Williams\, Dr. Vivian Tampkin\, Emily Sinsin\, and many more. \nWhy join us?\nUnderstanding resistance is key to promoting equity and healthy relational development. Whether it’s a signal of a protective force or a reaction to systemic harm\, we provide the space to unpack it together.

This month\, we are diving deep into the vital role of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) within Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs. \nThis session offers a unique opportunity to learn from the front lines of program management and clinical consultation. We will explore strategies for supporting ECE programs and the multidisciplinary approaches that strengthen outcomes for children and families. \nOur Featured Presenter\nWe are honored to be joined by Cassie Centofranchi\, LMFT\, a valued member of our Communities of Practice Committee. \nCassie currently serves as the Program Manager of the Growing Together Team at CALM.
